June Webinar

June 18 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Most physicians were never offered access to a true registered pension plan.
As independent professionals, retirement planning has often meant piecing together RRSPs, corporate investments, and advice that was never designed for how doctors actually earn income.

The Canadian Physicians’ Pension Plan was created to change that.

In this educational zoom webinar, we walk through how a Personal Pension Plan (PPP) works inside a Medical Professional Corporation, why it exists, and when it may or may not make sense for a physician to consider one.

This is not a sales presentation.
It is a structured, physician-led discussion focused on education and clarity.

During this session, we will cover:

  • Why RRSPs and corporate investing often fall short for high-income physicians
How a Personal Pension Plan differs from RRSPs, IPPs, and other registered options
  • What “higher contribution limits” actually mean in real terms over a physician’s career
  • How pension assets are treated differently for tax, estate, and creditor protection purposes
  • Common misconceptions physicians have about pensions and incorporation
Situations where a PPP may not be appropriate

The goal is not to convince you.
The goal is to help you understand your options clearly enough to make informed decisions.

This webinar is designed for:

  • Incorporated physicians in Ontario
  • Physicians paying themselves a salary or considering doing so
  • Doctors who feel they are “doing well” financially but are unsure if they are planning efficiently
  • Physicians who want structure and predictability in long-term planning
  • Those who have outgrown RRSP-only strategies

No prior pension knowledge is required.
